The fiesta of flora that is Cactus at the Castle will be presented again by Cactus and Succulent Review this year as part of Lullingstone Castle’s Mexican Celebration Weekend. The quarterly online magazine will be offering readers who can get to the picturesque village of Eynsford in Kent half-price admission to the event at Lullingstone Castle.
Our Story
Following on from the success of CactusWorld Live!, Tom Hart Dyke was keen to continue celebrating the spiky plant world with another special event. After a year's hiatus due to COVID, the first Cactus at the Castle was organised by the late Dave Appleton in 2021, another success despite the fuel crisis that weekend. The reins were handed over to the current team in 2022 with the support of the Cactus and Succulent Review online magazine. The event continues to grow, providing more opportunities for visitors and those selling plants to celebrate the succulent world. Cactus at the Castle is now the largest annual cactus and succulent event in the UK.
